Linked to a personal experience something that is connected with your life, family, community, friends, co-workers, or that you have encountered in discussions and made you think.
In a geographical setting/area in this way the report does not imply just theoretical work, it gets grounded and easier to write and find data.
ELEMENTS EXPECTED TO BE CONSTITUTIVE OF THE REPORT:
INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCE relevant to the topic under investigation
A REVIEW OF CONCEPTUAL OR THEORETICAL LITEATURE: it helps understand and analyse the topic
SECONDARY (and PRIMARY if you want to) EMPIRICAL RESEARCH EVIDENCE RELATED TO YOUR TOPIC IN THE SPECIFIC GEOGRAPHICAL SETTING: this is your data analysis
DISCUSSION ON HOW THE IMPLICATIONS TACKLED IN YOUR REPORT CAN ADDRESS REAL WORLD SOCIAL PROBLEMS: this is the discussion of your findings and how they can relate/be helpful to address real world social problematics.

STRUCTURE OF YOUR REPORT:
In order to be meaningful, coherent, consistent and easy to read your report should include all these sections:
1-2 paragraphs overview of the report which explains:
You can use bullet points like here
This is something that usually you write when you have finished writing your report
This should explain :
what is the report about,
why youre making this case,
it can include your personal experience,
it explains rationale or goals of your report
3. LITERATURE REVIEW:
This is where you should write about the previous literature
on your general topic: I will be attaching my personal experience.
Paragraph section where you describe how you collected your data/information/material (library, internet, or other forms of research)
If you want to try to engage with some interviews or observation make sure you follow the ethics guidelines to respect the privacy of your interviewees/observed, if they do not want to be named you can change their names or just anonymise them this should be written in you methods as well.
5. FINDINGS/DATA DESCRIPTION
Here you should provide a descriptive account of your topic in the specific geographical location that you have selected (i.e. the case-study in China)
Here you explain the significance of your findings, what you have found new,
How your report and the implications you tackle in it can address real world problems
List of names of scholars and people you quoted or cited in your report
List of all the information sources that you refer directly to in your report (websites, newspapers, international agencies)
A content page encompassing executive summary, references(Appendices), list of figures.
I want to discuss formal and informal education, curriculum, testing(meritocracy), streaming/ranking in schools(school hierarchy), family involvement in children learning (concerted cultivation), schoolification(making other social institutions like a family more like a school)this can include excessive homework. Also can you mention the dominant discourse of Education Gospel (the more you study, the more you build skills)
All sources MUST be accessible through Google/journal articles.
NO American writing style.
The first document: Schooling children and childhood, use that for the literature review, please.
The second one is my personal experience that should be embedded within the project.
